Commercial Structure Evaluations
Prospective Facility Buyers:
Before committing company capital to a new building or facility, determining the life expectancy and being forewarned of possibly large future expenditures is paramount. We can dispatch our personnel to visit the property and evaluate the structure, paying specific attention to items of immediate concern, and provide a baseline condition report upon which a program of preventative maintenance and building management can be built. We will perform any necessary analysis or research and we will provide a written report with photos documenting the observed conditions and discussing the possible structural significance of those observations, together with our general recommendations for possible remedial measures and outlining the next steps required.
We can provide opinions of probable construction cost as well as a timeline of major building component life expectancies.
Existing Facility Owners:
Whether you are looking for peace of mind about a structural concern, or are responding to reports from facilty management personnel, a structural evaluation can provide you with documentation regarding the structural integrity of your facility. Our personnel will visit the property and evaluate the structure - paying specific attention to items of concern.
We will then return to the office to perform any necessary analysis or research and we will provide a written report with photos documenting the observed conditions and discussing the possible structural significance of those observations, together with our general recommendations for possible remedial measures and outlining the next steps required.
This report can then become a permanent part of your facility documentation, can be invaluable when answering questions during the sale of the building, and provide a baseline condition report upon which a program of preventative maintenance and building management can be built.
Insurance Investigations:
Often retained by either the facility owner or Insurance companies, we are often called upon to assist in the resolution of an insurance claim by:
- Determining the extent of damage due to some "event".
- Delineating the extent of replacement/repairs within a structure.
- Determining the safety of a structure after some structural accident.
- Providing a comprehensive photographic report and analysis of findings
- Determination of probable costs for needed repairs.
